Coldplay's creatively and commercially successful Mylo Xyloto world tour, an ongoing juggernaut seen by 3 million fans so far since it lifted off in October 2011, can now be experienced in living rooms.
Coldplay Live 2012 arrives Monday in multiple configurations: on DVD/CD, Blu-ray/CD and digitally.
The concert film, directed by Paul Dugdale (Adele's Live at the Royal Albert Hall), will be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET Saturday on premium TV network EPIX, which will also air it online at EpixHD.com and on EPIX apps on Xbox consoles, iPads, iPhones, Roku players and other devices.
The British rock band's first concert film and live album in nine years tracks the tour with footage from shows at Paris' Stade de France, Montreal's Bell Centre and Coldplay's headline slot at last year's Glastonbury Festival.
On Monday, Coldplay will also issue the e-book Mylo Xyloto Live, an interactive audio-visual companion created specifically for the iBookstore. Check iTunes for details.
The tour followed the release of Coldplay's fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, which topped the chart in 34 countries and has sold 8 million copies worldwide. It was the group's third album to enter Billboard at No. 1, earning three Grammy nominations for singles Paradise and Every Teardrop is a Waterfall.
